New reproduction steering wheel horn center cap rubber retaining ring. This mounts on the back of the metal horn button and retains it into the steering wheel or horn ring.
This is for push-in horn caps not retained by screws or spring clips.
This type of cap was normally found on lower end models, trucks or cars with standard (base) interior and standard steering wheels.
This is the
smaller
rubber ring roughly measuring 2-7/16” OD x 7/8" ID x 11/16 Height. There was also a larger ring used, mainly around 1967. CHECK YOURS BEFORE PURCHASE!
Chrome horn cap not included in purchase. For demonstration purposes only.
CONDITION:
New reproduction.
APPLICATION:
Numerous Chevrolet passenger cars between 1960 and 1968 with push-in horn buttons.
DOES NOT work with many 1967 horn buttons, such as Novas.
Also fits a ton of Chevy / GMC trucks, vans and motorhomes into the 1980s.
