    Selling as a Collector's item, but it's fully functional if you have a NeXT Computer running Release 2 or later. NeXT is the company Steve Jobs started after he left Apple and which was later bought by Apple when they wanted him back. Eventually NeXTOS become the new  MacOS (but this won't run on Macs).
    This is Illustrator serial #1 (see photo), so it's ultra-rare and unique. This is the first version of Adobe Illustrator on any platform in which you could edit in "Preview Mode," as it was powered by Display PostScript.
    Box is labeled to contain 3 "flopitcal" disks with program, tutorials, and galleries, Plus actual books for User Guide, Tutorial Guide, Color Guide, Beyond the Basics: Tips and Techniques. Also a Quick Reference Guide.
