    Description

Up for sale is a brand new, unused, alternator pigtail connector harness plug for
    2007-18 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5L, 3.5L
    Please contact us
    before
ordering if you have any questions regarding the application of this pigtail harness.
    This is the
    TRIPLE
lead (male) pigtail harness that plugs into the alternator regulator. Long term exposure to the elements tends to cause the plastic on the original pigtail to become brittle and crack/break. This replacement pigtail can resolve this issue.
We pride ourselves on speed and accuracy!!! If you place your order before 3 pm Central Time, we will ship it out the same
    day (except on weekends).
In a bigger hurry?? Please contact us
    before ordering
if you need expedited shipping (Next Day Air, 2nd Day, etc.)
**NOTE: The shape of the plug and the number of terminals on it determine its compatibility with various vehicle applications. As you can see from the photos, our plug has 3 wires attached. Given this, there are certain plug configurations that are compatible with our pigtail harness despite the vehicle having only 2 active terminals (2 wires leading to the plug terminals). In these cases, connect our plug to your existing harness according to which wires are being used by your vehicle. Then simply tie off or cut off the extra wire on our pigtail that is not being used.**
    ***
    Additionally
, if you require assistance determining which wires from your vehicle's harness correspond to the wires on our pigtail plug, please drop us a message and include the
Year, Make, Model, and Engine size
of your vehicle and we will do our best to guide you through the splicing process.***
Typically, the replacement harness is spliced into the vehicle's existing harness by crimping it in place with a butt connector and crimping tool (not included). Please be sure to use sufficient pressure with the crimping tool to ensure tight crimps on the ends of both wires being joined.
To verify that the new pigtail harness has been properly attached, use a
    fair
amount of force to pull on both sides of the butt connector simultaneously.
(USE ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF FORCE AS YOU USE WHEN TYING YOUR SHOELACES)
    .
    The newly crimped ends should
    not
    give any slack
    at all
. If the wire(s) begin to pull out away from the butt connector, cut the butt connector off and repeat the process with a new butt connector and make sure to impose sufficient force on the new butt connector with the crimping tool.
The pigtail harness carries a 5 year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. No warranty on labor or other associated costs.
    Please note:
It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that this replacement part fits the vehicle's application. The picture shown depicts the actual style of pigtail harness that you will receive.
