    , AS THE BROW VENTS ON THIS SHIELD WOULD HAVE NOWHERE TO DIRECT THE AIR.  THE XD4 IS DESIGNED WITH AIR DUCTS THAT LINE UP WITH THE BROW VENTS, WHEREAS PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF THE XD DO NOT HAVE THESE DUCTS. AS A RESULT, THE BROW VENTS WOULD JUST ALLOW DEBRIS/DIRT/BUGS TO GO RIGHT THROUGH THE BROW VENTS, TOWARDS YOUR FACE.
