This is a fixed price listing with 'Best Offer' option for (1) pair of

authentic (vintage) Versace Sunglasses, model 407-480. The circa is about 1980 or so and we have been in possession of a small number of these gems for about 15-years, since we bought them from the Italian factory where all the Versace eyewear was made. We are pretty good at knowing when an item is worth holding onto, because it will rise in value. That has now happened with these, because certain movie stars are now parading around in vintage Versace eyewear from that era. These are available in extremely limited numbers and once gone, they are gone forever.   The color of the lenses is a smoky olive and the frames are a frosted yellow.  These frames are intended to be adjusted (if needed) by dipping the earpiece in very hot water, to make it soft enough to bend and fit. If you need such adjusting, suggest you take it to an optician because we regrettably can not be responsible if this procedure goes wrong.  Marked on the inside (right) earpiece:
"Gianni Versace  Made in Italy"
.  The left inside earpiece has the model number and "CE" marking.  The earpieces are 5.7"/145mm apart and the lens size is 2.2"/56mm wide by 1.3"/34mm high (not including frame around lenses). The familiar Versace "Medusa" emblem is raised  in silver tone at the temple. 100% UV, which is evidenced by the "CE" marking (EU standard).  No case is provided.  Comes in factory zip-loc.
