1980 -Bucci Inc. is founded in Santa Cruz California by Robert Bucci. The first model the "Cateye" roles off the production floor made of a deep rich gradient brown nylon and expensive multi-layer coated Amber glass lenses.
1986 -Robert Bucci moves to France for three months to oversee the production production at his sister factory?s.
1990 -Bucci moves to Fashion Frames with highly functional lenses unique to the industry.
2000 -Bucci expands it product line to Optical Shops, Specialty Stores, and Sporting Good Stores incorporating new designs and new materials.
2010 -David Bucci joins the Bucci Team full time bringing a new outlook on the industry and design.
