    Description

    The Democratic Republic of Congo 1 Centime banknote was released in 1997 by the Central Bank of Congo when it reintroduced the Franc monetary unit. The obverse of the banknote depicts a woman picking coffee berries and the bank monogram logo. The back of the note shows the erupting Mount Nyiragongo volcano and Arabica coffee berries. The paper bill which is 120 x 70 mm in size comes with solid security thread and a watermark that reflects an okapi head pattern. It also features a registration device in the form of a 5-pointed star in a diamond. This banknote replacement issue banknote is in uncirculated condition.
