You will receive the item pictured as it is pictured ONLY - nothing else included. As you can see it does not have the 2nd power cord, the power cord that plugs into the wall. I have many of these (different models) to test and list and only one cord (again - no cord included) to test with.
As you can see in the pics there is some damage to both side of the mantle. Not sure how this occurred. The remaining fabric is not brittle. May have been left on too long as these require constant supervision.  The damage to the back is the bare exposed wire on the bottom of the mantle.
This is a vintage mantle. I purchased it over 10 years ago in a bulk purchase from a local university and am just now getting around to listing it. I point this out because I am pretty sure they have probably made recent upgrades.
You cannot just plug this mantle in and leave it. Especially without a flask. I am pretty sure it will eventually melt or at least become non-usable. Basically what I am saying is you need to monitor it constantly when being used. If you have prior experience with this item you will know what I am talking about.
Make sure to look at the picture of the plug receptacle.

I plugged it in long enough for it to heat up. It is in known working condition.
