Fruit fly Media Culture Mix Kit contains 1.5Lb (24oz) Of Media Excelsior, Cups/ Lids to makes 10 fruit flies cultures.
It does not include live flies
Our  fruit fly media works for both melanogaster and Hydei. It is Homemade with the best ingredients to produce top quality flies for your animals . Our fruit fly media contains  ingredients anti-bacterials to avoid the bad smell, also we use a mold inhibitor  to prevent mold. The ingredients we use give increase the longevity of the cultures and produces high yields.
I recommend add vinegar in the boiling water
.
Vinegar is always great for your cultures but vinegar is optional
since the media contains mold inhibitor.
The Media contains a mold inhibitor, Shake it before using
Preparation Instructions:
Add 1/2 cup of Media to 32oz cup
Add 3/4 cup of boiling water
Stir until mixture is consistent texture
Add Excelsior. Cover the cup and wait for it cool.
Add Flies 50-70
Add the vinegar to the boiling water
Regular fruit flies should be keep at 70-75 degrees. If the culture isn’t stored at an appropriate temperature, it could possibly mold The flies have everything they need inside of the container, just feed to your animal as needed!
