The SEL-4CQS1 is a Dual 2x2 or Single 4x4 Clean and Quiet Switcher for Selenio MCP3 frames.
The SEL-4CQS1 provides a clean, non-disruptive, and glitch-free transition of video content, when switching from one source to another source of the same data-rate and frame-rate. The SEL-4CQS1 also provides audio that is free of audible artifacts, such as pops and clicks that can occur during transitions of embedded audio content, when switching from one source to another source with the same data- and frame-rate.
The SEL-4CQS1 is not a router, but it has a rich set of supported control protocols, making it easy to integrate into a larger router and automation system.
The SEL-4CQS1 has the following main features:
Dual 2x2 Clean and Quiet Switcher, or Single 4x4 Clean and Quiet Switcher configurations
Selenio MCP3 frame form-factor
Frame sync or line sync operation
User-selectable transition modes and duration
Four auto-sensing SD/HD/3G-SDI inputs
Signal presence monitoring on all SDI inputs
EDH and CRC error monitoring on all SDI inputs
Freeze and Black monitoring on all SDI inputs
Frame reference of NTSC, PAL, or tri-level sync
RS-232/422/485 serial XY protocol support
ADC Automation control
Support for XY over IP
Six configurable GPI inputs or outputs (TTL level), for triggering switch operation or alarm outputs
Two GPI outputs only (TTL level) for alarm outputs
Four processed SD/HD/3G-SDI signal outputs
Four video frame synchronizers with H-phase, V-phase, and frame delay controls
Four line synchronizers for minimum latency operation
Four configurable video mixers (with audio follow) with arbitrary transition timing of up to four seconds for the following transition modes:
