    Description

    ***Working*** Lionel Corporation slate top Multivolt transformer type K. Manufactured from 1918 – 1921.
    This is a 100+ year old transformer and intended for display and demonstration use only.
    Look at the Pictures carefully as they are the best description of condition.
    Power Cord was replaced with a period correct cloth wrapped modern UL listed lamp cord. Interior was inspected for shorts and insulation deterioration. Testing was done at normal room temperatures.  Primary and secondary winding readings are after 20 minutes no load.
    The interior slate damage looks to be from the factory epoxy expansion ad resin matches what was also used at the factory to fill the top screw holes. I have stabilized the loose pieces with super glue and repaired a missing corner chip.
    Sadly, not much is left of the top gold rubber stamp from years of heavy play. If you look really close you can still see some.
    The bonus are the plug looks original along with the wooden cap of the shipping protector also a super clean brass Lionel Corporation name plate. I have also included a matching screw base that would have come originally from the factory.
