CREATURE FEATURES, your one-stop shop for out-of-this-world movie & TV collectibles,  celebrates the cult classic kids-vs-monsters flick MONSTER SQUAD, the 1987 horror-comedy epic that coined the phrases "Wolfman's Got Nards" and "Creature Stole My Twinkie!"
Directed by Fred Dekker (NIGHT OF THE CREEPS) with a script co-written by Shane Black (IRON MAN 3), the film's spectacular creature designs and humor have made it a cult favorite for over 30 years.
Creature Features' Burbank shop and gallery hosted a spectacular MONSTER SQUAD art show, a multi-media group art gallery exhibit showcasing dozens of artists from the fields of film, television, fine art, comics, children’s book illustration and more, all paying homage to the film. The event culminated with a cast-and-crew reunion screening at the historic Ace Hotel Theater in Los Angeles, featuring stars Andre Gower, Ryan Lambert, Ashley Bank, Stephen Macht, and makeup effects artists Tom Woodruff Jr. and Alec Gillis, hosted by Eric "Quint" Vespe of Ain't It Cool News.
Exclusively for the occasion, Creature Features enlisted artist Miles Teves to produce this stunning giclée.  Teves, one of Hollywood's most well-respected and sought-after conceptual artists, created key designs for films such as ROBOCOP - for which Teves did major design work for the title character - LEGEND, for which Teves designed Meg Mucklebones and Tim Curry's Darkness character, and dozens of others, including EXPLORERS, SPIDER-MAN, TOTAL RECALL, KING KONG, PLANET OF THE APES, and IRON MAN.
The result was this stunning 16" by 32" retro masterpiece, showcasing the infamous monsters of the film. The series was limited to an edition of 150 numbered copies, 75 in red and 75 in green.
