For your Consideration a RARE NRFB vintage Barbie doll Truly Scrumptious Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Barbie Doll with Beautiful Francie Face mold . Rare and Wonderful In Box.  Very Few of these in box around - box has self ware and has seen better days . It will Shine in your Rare Barbie Collection, One of the beloved Movies' of all Time!
There were two Truly Scrumptious Barbie Dolls - a "standard" one on the traditional straight leg Midge/Barbie body and a Talking Truly Scrumptious.  Both dolls have a Francie head with blue eyes, rooted eyelashes and blonde hair - no bangs, pulled back in a low ponytail and curled at the bottom.  Both dolls were only made for one year and can be hard to find, especially in mint condition or NRFB.

The Truly Scrumptious Doll was one of the first "celebrity" Barbie Dolls, released along with the Julia doll in 1968
The Doll was only made for one year .
The doll is based on a character of the same name from the wildly popular kids movie, Chitty, Chiity, Bang, Bang. Truly Scrumptious was played by Sally Ann Howes in the 1968.
The movie is loosely based on a story written by James Bond creator, Ian Fleming, for his son. The movie is set around 1910 - 1920.
Mint doll NRFB - Box is in fair condition with shelf wear, rips, etc.
The boxed dolls have never been removed from the box.
Part of a very large barbie collection to be listed - lots of hard to find vintage Barbie items - Japan exclusive, Sears exclusive, rare and hard to find dolls and outfits, NRFB outfits, etc.
From a avid adult collector who took great care in storing dolls.
Dolls come from a smoke environment.

SHIPPING: I use The United States Postal Service the majority of the time.  I will be happy to combine shipping on multiple wins. I use the shipping calculator or flat rate shipping for all auctions. Please consider the quote in overall purchase price before placing your bid. I use USPS Priority Mail services, UPS Ground for larger items, etc. to get the best quality shipping price for the buyer. Shipping can be upgraded to Express Shipping but a charge will apply for that service.  Please let me know at auction end if you would like to upgrade shipping.
I pack VERY WELL to insure that your item arrives safely ~ I use tissue paper, bubble wrap and shredded paper so that there is no movement in shipping.  I know that this makes the box a little heavier to ship which increases shipping costs by a small amount but it is worth it to have the item arrive without breaking.  If it is a non-breakable item I can usually ship for a bit less and skip the shredded paper and just used newspaper.
