    Rare Vintage Makita Electric Works Tool Kit for - 2030, 2040 thickness planers
    I bought this kit with gear reduction sprockets for these planers (recently sold on eBay).
    What is unique about this kit is the logo that was used by Makita when they made
    thickness'
    planers (before expanding into other tools).
    Also unique are the screwdrivers. There are
    screwdrivers on the market that look exactly like these that say Makita on them. These have Japanese writing on them that probably says "Makita Electric Works"?. Also distinguished by 10.000V on them
    There is a 13mm wrench that fits the two screws that are included. My
    guess
    is that this kit is used for blade replacement. I don't know what the two blocks of wood are for (blade installation gauging?)
