Description

This
boost
mod is designed to raise the stock 14.2V cold Toyota voltage set point .5V higher (stage 1/ 14.4-14.8V cold relative to battery state and operating temp) to provide better performance from your stock or high amp alternator that are limited to this
voltage. Any
Toyota, Lexus, or Scion
will accept this
boost
plug (it will plug in between the factory harness and the alternator)
This
boost
mod is specific to these applications that use the plug code shown in the diagram (IG S L M(fr)
It will plug in between the OEM vehicle harness and alternator (completely plug and play with no special wiring required)
providing the plug carries IG and S terminals and is the same shape plug the boost harness will still be compatible (this is the majority of all Toyota based vehicles)
