Vintage 1962 Barbie book "Here's Barbie"

This auction is for a vintage copy of "Here's Barbie- Stories about the fabulous Barbie and her boyfriend Ken"...whew. It's mostly black and white (and pink), and features stories about Barbie and Ken. There's even a one-act play that can be acted out, with costuming suggestions included. There are pages in between stories where you are supposed to list friends to invite to a party, note about your dolls, and where to write your own story...but luckily, the book has not been written in. The condition isn't great- see the photo of damage to the upper spine and corners. The spine has let go of the body of the book on the inside from being opened too wide, and you get the feeling the glue will pop if you crease the pages open too much. There's not much yellowing, and no musty smell. It measures 8 1/4" by 5 1/2", published by Random House in 1962. It 186 pages of supreme cuteness! A must-have for any vintage Barbie collector.
