Vintage 22 Bausch & Lomb 47 Driving Safety Sunglasses w Folding Side Panels

Fresh out of Grandpas basement!
Bausch + Lomb Sunglasses with original case.
The glasses are in very nice condition. There is a very slight dent or bend on the left side fold out flap as pictured. 22 BAUSCH and LOMB 47 is etched on the back of the nose bridge. They actually fold backwards to fit in the case! The screws and connectors are all shiny and in great shape. The lenses are green and could stand a cleaning but I don’t want to mess with them too much so I’ll leave that up to the buyer.
The metal case has seen better days but is completely in tact and functioning. As you can see in the pictures there are many dents and scratches on the case. It is painted dark green. Someone scratched “Speakes” in cursive on the top of the case just above the B + L MADE IN USA stamp. The clip to keep it closed works very well. Hinges are great, it opens and closes nicely.
