Vintage McCoy Majolica Tea Pot & Sugar & Creamer - Ivy Relief Decoration

Description

This is a beautiful old tea set. The tea pot is approximately 8 1/2" tall, 6" wide and 10" from handle to spout. The oval open sugar bowl and the creamer measure 3 1/2" tall to the top of the handle, 6 1/4" long and 3 1/2" wide (sugar) and 3 1/4" wide (creamer).
Elaborately sculptured with branch-like handles and high reliefs of ivy leaves. The finial of the tea pot lid is also shaped as ivy. Cream colored background with green and brown decorations.
Made by McCoy in the USA and accordingly marked with the embossed "McCoy USA". We believe that this set dates to about 1950.
Tea pot and creamer are in
excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. The sugar bowl has a faint old hairline crack on the side (see picture), which is barely noticeable and does not affect the integrity or usefulness of the piece. All three pieces show crazing, but no discoloration.
