It is hard to believe that this years old slip shows such little wear. The lace is perfect and there are no flaws in the fabric.
Found at an estate sale for a sophisticated lady that was truly a “
lover of fine lingerie
”.
It appears that this vintage piece was probably stored in a cedar chest or similar storage closet for those many, many years.
From the tag: The “Magic” is in the “Molded” bodice, waistline and gored skirt. With this extra tailoring you can have figure flattery heretofore unobtainable in full slips. The darted bodice and six carefully shaped gores eliminate excess bunchy fabric, create a nipped in waistline and smooth fitting hipline.
“Molded Magic” truly compliments the most feminine figure, providing new-found confidence and comfort.  Tag still attached.
This very comfortable full slip has the look and fell of a soft cotton fabric—it’s a polyester nylon blend.
Adjustable 5/8-inch shoulder straps.
½-lace hem around the top of the bodice.
Embroidered eyelet lace across the front of the bodice with a ½-inch lace band diagonally down the front.

Shipping & Handling
We normally ship the same or next day after receipt of payment.
We ship free within the USA by USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail--both with Delivery Confirmation.
For international shipping, we send by US First Class International when appropriate (less than 4 pounds).
International Priority Shipping is about 5-6 times as expensive.
Shipping fees for Canadian buyers are shown.
International rates are substantially higher than domestic rates. Please contact us for an estimate of shipping costs.
We welcome bids from international buyers.  Shipping by USPS First Class International cannot be tracked or insured.
Buyers accept responsibility if a package is lost in transit.
Please email us prior to shipping if you wish to have your package send by Priority Mail (minimum cost to Canada is USD.

Payments

Returns
We will graciously accept returns on any item you may win under the following conditions:
Return the item in the same condition that you received it at your expense.  You may ship in the most economical means available (e.g., parcel post in lieu of priority mail).
Resealing the package and marking it as "refused' is against USPS policy and may not be returned within the return day limit.
Notify us immediately and ship the item back to us within 14 days of when you receive it.
We must receive the item within 28 days of sale.
Upon receipt and inspection of the item, we will immediately send a full refund.
